Hike to the top of the Alto del Higo, the highest point in the province of Herrera, for stunning views of Veraguas and the Pacific Ocean. On a clear day you can also see all the way across the Azuero peninsula to the Bay of Parita in the east. You might even hear some howler monkeys on your hike.
